Delta Thermal Apparel

Delta Thermal Apparel uses microencapsulated (microPCMs) and macroencapsulated phase change materials (macroPCMs), or COOLBEADS™, to provide high thermal storage in apparel.  MicroPCM™ particles are very small - typically 10-50 microns in diameter. MacroPCM™ particles are much larger - typically 2-4 mm in diameter. Both are "smart" particles with their own built-in thermostat, which provides isothermal transients warming or cooling at selected temperatures. These unique particles can enhance the thermal capacity of a variety of materials, including foams, coatings and items of apparel.
